2012 Semester 1

Machine Embroidery
Bernina Embroidery A
This semester we will be completing some smaller embroidery projects for fashion and home decorating.  We'll be starting off the year by transforming a basic linen shirt into a beautiful garment with cutwork accents.

It's been a long hard slog for you gals doing this amazing embroidered qullt.  We're almost there now, so hang in -  you're going to start to see some fantabulous results.

Janome Embroidery Group
This semester we will be completing some smaller embroidery projects for home decorating and/or gifts.  We'll be starting off the year with some cutwork on a table runner.  Embroider one you have or make a runner from scratch.

Sewing

Bernina Techniques A   
During this semester you will learn many and varied techniques to enable you to add that professional touch to all your sewing projects. In the process, there's a great line up of fun little projects using the techniques.  Our first is a cute little basket using the circular sewing attachment.

Overlocker Techniques 
These classes are designed to get the most out of your overlocker.  You will learn a technique and/or make a project during this class.  Prerequisite to attend is recent completion of Basic Overlocker class.
We'll be making a roll up pouch with sectioned pockets to store your overlocker accessories.  A very simple, stress free project.

Cost $30

Machine Felting   
These classes are designed around a felting machine due to their ease of use and quickness.  There is also a hand felting tool available which can be used in these classes.  Felting opens up a whole new world of beautiful embellishments and creative flair.  It is a very forgiving technique and these classes are lots of fun.



1  We'll start with something small and beautiful - a 3 dimensional flower.  You'll be able to use this same technique to apply to many different flowers.

2. In this class you will be making a small pouch which can be used as a card file.  Mine will be used to hold my spare felting needles and other small accessories.

 Procedures for booking into classes
  • Full payment of term's class must be paid at the time of booking in and at least 2 weeks prior to commencement of class unless otherwise stated.
  • Participants to check 2 weeks prior to commencement of class, if class is proceeding. At this stage, you should collect a Requirements List for the class.
  • If class does not proceed due to lack of numbers, full refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from a class up to 2 weeks before its commencement, please find a replacement, as no refund can be given.
