Machine Embroidery
Bernina Embroidery and Techniques Advanced Class
This class is for the advanced Bernina Sewer/Embroidered who has completed the Basic Technique and Embroidery classes.

This class will take you on an incredible journey of discovery while you complete Jenny Haskins' Beyond Colour Purple Quilt.  You will learn so much about all aspects of embroidery - enough to tackle the most challenging projects.

Sewing & Dressmaking

 Overlocker Techniques - NEW
This class is designed to get the most out of your overlocker.  You will learn a technique and/or make a project during this class.  Prerequisite to attend is recent completion of our basic overlocker class.

Beginners Dressmaking
This class is designed especially for the beginner sewer.  Come along and learn the basics of dressmaking.  You'll be surprised how achievable and inspiring this skill can be.  Once the basics are learnt, the sky is the limit!  Book early, as numbers are strictly limited in this popular class.

Bernina Techniques
During this semester you will be completing a Bolster Cushion using many different feet and learning lots of different techniques.

Machine Felting
In this class you will be making a butterfly brooch.  You will learn a new technique - one that will give you more precise definition in your design.

UFO Club
Come along and work on those projects you've got lying around unfinished, you know you have them!!!  Enjoy a morning sewing and chatting, with help close at hand if you need it.

Free Demonstrations - NEW

We will be holding regular, short demonstration events at the shop.  These will be on techniques, tools, machine and many other aspects.

You will need to book in as numbers are very limited.  These demonstrations are FREE.

Procedures for booking into classes
  • Full payment of term's class must be paid at the time of booking in and at least 2 weeks prior to commencement of class unless otherwise stated.
  • Participants to check 2 weeks prior to commencement of class, if class is proceeding. At this stage, you should collect a Requirements List for the class.
  • If class does not proceed due to lack of numbers, full refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from a class up to 2 weeks before its commencement, please find a replacement, as no refund can be given.
